Marion Seymour Wright, a native of Algiers, Louisiana, and resident of Tualatin, Oregon, for the past 9 years, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Capt. Walter S. Wright. Mother of the late Geraldine Fedel Walker. Grandmother of Charles B. Fedel, Marion A. Resor and her husband Paul A. Resor, III. Daughter of the late Edna and George S. Seymour. Sister of Shirley Bauer, and the late Warren Seymour, Clifton Seymour, Edward Seymour, George Seymour, Jr., Mildred Perez, Myrtle Zeh and Margie Odenwald. Mrs. Wright was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (“O.E.S”), Sts. John Chapter #35. She served as a Worthy Matron in 1966. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the O.E.S., Sts. John Chapter #35 and the N.O.B.R.A Pilots Association are invited to attend funeral services at Mount Olivet Episcopal Church, 530 Pelican Ave., Algiers, LA on Saturday, October 11, 2014. Visitation will begin at 11 AM and the funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM. Interment to follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana. Mothe Funeral Home handling arrangements.
