Mark Davy Broussard

Mark Davy Broussard passed away on Monday, January 14, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Barbay Broussard. Father of Mark D. Broussard, Jr. (wife Paula). Grandmother of Mark “Trey” Broussard, III, Janae Broussard, Micah Broussard, Christian Neller (husband Wade), Nicholas Broussard and Michaela Broussard. Great grandfather of Maxwell Neller. Brother of Joseph H. “Hop” Broussard of Lafayette, LA. Uncle of Raymond P. Markase, Jr. and Marsha Markase Martin. Godfather of Whitney Martin Surbeck, Meghan Martin and Bernadette St. Marie. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was affectionately known as Uncle Mark by many. Age 79 years. A native of Loreauville, LA and a longtime resident of Gretna, LA. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was employed as a real estate agent/ broker with Joe J. Relle, Inc. He was also a member of the VFW and Timberlane Country Club. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open on Saturday from 9AM until 11AM.
