Mark Edward Landry

Mark Edward Landry, an avid fisherman and hunter passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was 54. Son of the late James Landry and Edmae Clabert Landry. Brother of Linda L. King (Husband Kenny), Bryan Landry (Wife Sandra), Kim L. Smail (Husband Denny) and Jim Landry. Uncle of Kyle Landry, Nicholas Landry and Holly Landry. He is also survived by his extended family at West Jefferson Medical Center. Mark served his country in the United States Coast Guard, United States Army Reserve and Merchant Marines. He was an EMT for 15 years at West Jefferson Medical Center. Mark also was an EMT for the City of Gretna and Westwego. Mark had a keen sense of humor and loved life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with him. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the Doctors and Staff of St. Joseph Hospice and West Jefferson Medical Center. A Memorial Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 9:30AM until 1:30PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
