Mark Joseph Plaisance

Mark Joseph Plaisance, born October 14, 1958 passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2011. Beloved husband of Diane Dore Plaisance for 33 years. Loving father to Tonya Plaisance, Barbara Plaisance, Roy Plaisance and Lacy Plaisance. Grandfather of Gage Plaisance, Bryce Manis, Mark J. Plaisance, Madison Manis, Brooke Plaisance, Leilani Harvey, Brielle Loria and Rikki Bourg. Father in law of Kristel Plaisance, Vernon Harvey and the late Michael Manis, Jr. Son of the late Patricia Ditcharo and Roy Plaisance. Brother of Vicki Plaisance and Luke Plaisance. Uncle of Chaise, Brandon (B.J.), Paul, Jamie, Casey, Mandy, and Luke Jr. He is also survived by an extraordinary family of close and loving friends. Mark was owner of JYD Auto Wreckers and was former Captain of the Krewe of Grela. His passion for life is etched in our hearts and he will be sadly missed. Heaven’s gain is our loss…till we meet again. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 6PM until 11PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday from 9AM until 1pM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday at 1pM.
