Marlene Ann Benoit Babin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marlene Ann Benoit Babin, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who peacefully passed away on April 4, 2025 at the age of 72. Marlene was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and everyone else she met along the way. Marlene’s generous heart, infectious smile, and bright spirit touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Marlene is survived by her son Nickey and daughter in law Renee, son Royal and daughter in law Rachel, granddaughter Kylie, and siblings Rickie Benoit, Cheryl Morvant, Karen Caulfield, Pamela Danos and Chris Benoit. She was preceded in death by her husband Royal Babin Sr. and parents Junius and Malvina Benoit. Marlene’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 11am.
