Martha Coco Lacour

Martha Coco LaCour, of Algiers, LA, and Sequim, WA, passed away peacefully at Olympic Medical Center, Port Angeles, WA on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 1:15 a.m., surrounded in love by her family at age 90. Martha dedicated her life to caring for her children and later her grandchildren. Her love of cooking for family and friends became a lifetime passion, along with enjoying life's simple pleasures. Martha was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Joseph LaCour. Mother of Cynthia L. Ruel, husband Claude Ruel, and Lloyd Joseph LaCour, Jr., wife Della Barnes LaCour. Daughter of the late Albert F. Coco and late Rhoda Escude' Coco. Sister of the late Joseph M. Coco, the late James Coco, the late Stanley Coco, and the late Ione Coco Lemoine. Grandmother of Jessica Ruel, Trent LaCour and Stephanie LaCour. A native of Mansura, LA and resident of Algiers, LA, for the past 59 years retiring in Sequim, WA for the past 4 years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Andrew Catholic Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, INC, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Burial will be private.
