Martha Mahe' Morgan

Martha Mahe’ Morgan passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Roy Anthony Morgan. Daughter of the late Albert Rene’ Mahe’ and Priscilla Locassin Mahe’. Mother of Martha Morgan Hanson (Husband George), Harold Roy Morgan (Wife Rena) and Rene’ Albert Morgan (Wife Cindy). Grandmother of Monica M. Hutchison, George “Bubby” Hanson III, Breck C. Wilkins and Harold Roy “Rory” Morgan, Jr. Survived by 6 Great Grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Sister of Jeanne Mahe’ Smith, Lloyd Anthony Mahe’ and the late John Albert Mahe’. Martha was a member of AARP Belle Chasse LA Chapter, Port Sulphur Auxiliary Fire Department, Port Sulphur Auxiliary VFW and Port Sulphur Auxiliary Lions Club. She was born in New Orleans, LA on December 12, 1921 and lived in Port Sulphur, LA for 54 years until 2005. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Information: 504-366-4343.
