Martin Hidalgo

Martin Hidalgo peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 17, 2016. Beloved father of Lawrence Hidalgo. Father-in-law of Lisa Hidalgo. Grandfather of Jonathan Hidalgo. Brother of Della Martinez. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Hidalgo and Maria Lopez Hidalgo and several brothers and sisters. Martin was born in Siefer, LA and was a resident of Gretna, LA. He worked until his retirement at Precision Rebuilders. He served his country while enlisted in the United States Army from 1951-1953. He was a Member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church. He was also a member of VFW Post 2121, Gretna Sportsman’s Club, American Legion Post 64 and Lions Club. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA.
