Mary Alice Minchew Haskins entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Marvis Eugene Haskins. Daughter of the late Dave Clifton Minchew and Minnie Lee Lachley Minchew. Loving mother of Sharon H. Bruce (Michael), Lisa Haskins (Wesley) and Naomi Zimmermann (Greg). Loving Grandmother of Stephanie Phothisat (Sith), Maycee Adam and Peyton Zimmermann. Beloved Great Grandmother of Sith and Lydia Phothisat. Sister of Jewel Jones of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and the late Aaron Minchew, George Minchew, David Minchew, Jr., Gene Minchew and Leona Wiggington. Mary Alice is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was born in Isola, Mississippi and a resident of Avondale, Louisiana for 59 years. She was a stay-at-home mom who loved and was devoted to her family. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, Louisiana.
