Mary Ann Arabie Dunaway peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the age of 73. Beloved and loving wife of Frank T. Dunaway for 33 years. Daughter of the late Albert Joseph Arabie and Mary Morvant Arabie. Loving mother of Donna Taveney (Bryan), Toni R. Martin (Travis) and Kimberly Wall (Glen). Beloved grandmother of Lauren Roy, Madlen Roy, Maci Roy, Alexis Martin, Kristin Dugar (David) and Ava Martin. Great Grandmother of Brycen, Hank and 1 expectant great grandchild. Sister of the late Gladys Dugas, Dorothy Terrell and Albert J. Arabie, Jr. Mary Ann was born in Gretna, LA and was a resident of Terrytown, LA. She was a Data Processor for the City of New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina and an employee of Kmart for many years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Gretna. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 9AM until 1PM. Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Gretna, 100 Gretna Blvd., Gretna, LA on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
