Mary Ellen St. Clair Ardeneaux entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the age of 82. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Edward J. Ardeneaux, Jr. Daughter of the late Louise Babin. Mother of Rachel Ardeneaux LeBlanc, Suzette Ardeneaux Milhet, Belver Ardeneaux Baye, Mary Ellen Ardeneaux Cummins, Edward J. Ardeneaux III and Leonard J. Ardeneaux. Grandmother of Edward J. Ardeneaux IV, Leonard Jr., Brittany and Tiffany Ardeneaux, Mark Milhet Jr., Rebecca and Elizabeth Baye, Maverick James Adams, Al Manint and Jill Bareford. Great Grandmother of Sam Bareford, Hailey Manint and Trey Ardeneaux. Sister of the late Eugene St. Clair, Jr. and Sylvia Nemes. Mary Ellen was a lifelong resident of Terrytown. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Staff and Doctors of St. Margaret’s Hospice and St. Luke’s Nursing Home for the care given to Mary Ellen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Road, Terrytown, LA on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 11AM until 12PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church on Thursday at 12PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
