Mary Lee De La Gardelle

Mary Lee De La Gardelle, 73 years old entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, as she peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by family.  Jesus in his loving mercy freed her of her pain and suffering from bone cancer.  Mary was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Wayne De La Gardelle, Sr.  Daughter of the late Rita M. Terrebonne and Willis Carroll, Sr.  Mother of Wayne De La Gardelle, Jr.  Daughter-in-law Jamie Rodrigue.  Grandmother of Kaylee De La Gardelle.  Godmother of Wanda Desselle.  Step Grandmother of Taylor, Jaycee and Tracy.  Great Grandmother of Paxton and Paul Bianchini.  Sister of the late Willis Carroll, Jr. and Kathy Lee Desselle.  Sisters-in-law of Beverly Bolotte, Barbara Trevino, Sharon De La Gardelle; brother-in-law, Brian De La Gardelle and the late Sandra De La Gardelle, Timmy De La Gardelle, Michael De La Gardelle, Kim De La Gardelle, Dale De La Gardelle, Jerry De La Gardelle and Kenny De La Gardelle.  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Nurse Christy and Dr. Christopher Joplin with Heart of Hospice for their care given to Mary Lee.  Mary Lee was born in Algiers, Louisiana and was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana.   Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 11AM until 1PM.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM.   Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.  Family and friends may express condolences at mothefunerals.com
