Mary DeShazo DeLatte

Mary DeShazo DeLatte passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of the late Leo DeLatte, Sr. Former wife of Clyde Brumley and Flemming Trosclair. Daughter of the late Hugh and Myrtle DeShazo. Mother of Leo DeLatte, Jr. (Wife Shari) and Michael DeLatte. Grandmother of Ryan (Wife Cindi), Lindsay and Leah DeLatte. Great Grandmother of Isabella DeLatte. Preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Mary was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Terrytown, LA for the past 48 years. She volunteered at Gretna Foodbank for many years. She worked as an accountant for the United States Air Force for many years. The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice and the staff of Wynhoven Health Care Center for their love and support given to them during Mary’s illness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 9AM until 11AM.
