Mary Irma France Bowers of Arlington, TX, formerly of Empire, LA passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 3:15AM at the age of 91. She was born on August 2, 1921 in Saratoga, TX. Daughter of the late Emile J. France and Mable H France. She was the wife of the late Hansell Paul Bowers, Sr. for 54 years. Mary is survived by 4 children, Hansell Paul Bowers, Jr. (Wife Barbara Green), Gerald “Fuzzy” James Bowers (Wife Wilma “Jean” Romain), Judith “Judy” Bowers Courtney and Russell Andrew Bowers (Wife Jeanne Hamby). Sister of the late Terrence “Jack” Piffer, Alois James France, Ena Oris France Bowers, Ludwig C. France, Joseph Lloyd France and Doloris Geraldine France Johnson. She is also survived by 7 grandsons, 3 grand daughters and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
