Mary Lee Aupied Frickey

Mary Lee Aupied Frickey entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 18, 2011 at the age of 69 years. Daughter of Tudelle Aupied and the late Thomas Aupied. Beloved companion of Russell Gros for 14 years. Mother of Robert Frickey, Lance Frickey and the late Mona Frickey Zar. Mother-in-law of Debbie Frickey and Kelly Zar. Grandmother of Brett, Heather, Brooke, Allen and Danielle. Great grandmother of Jordan, Daniel and Emily. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mary was a very loving and caring person who touched so many hearts and will be greatly missed. A native of Orleans Parish and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. She was retired after 30 years with the Jefferson Parish School Board and a parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 1PM. Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open on Monday from 8:30AM until mass time. In lieu of flowers, masses in her name are preferred.
