Mary Beck Harmeyer

Mary Beck Harmeyer entered into eternal rest on January 14, 2024. Beloved mother of Laurie Billiot (Joseph Crombie) and the late Lisa Harmeyer. Grandmother of Damon Billiot, Christine Billiot Wells (Shawn), Rebecca Billiot, Christopher Billiot, Julian Billiot, Jamie Metcalf, and Jordan Metcalf (fiancé Clay). Great-grandmother of Conner, Kaylee, Kara, Emily, Jade, Nicholas, Amber, Breann, Lillian, William, Emilia, and Natalie. Great-great-grandmother of Harmony, Lillith, and soon to be Melody due in June. Daughter of the late William Beck and Loretta Thiele Beck. Sister of the late Joyce Beck, A. J. Beck, Patricia B. Martin. Also survived by her nieces, nephews, and a large and loving extended family. Age 83 years and a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother who doted on her family. She was a longtime first grade teacher and an avid reader. She especially adored her black labs. She will be deeply missed by all.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 1:30 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until service time.
