Mary Irene Solet Verdin passed away on November 3, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of Joseph S. Verdin. Mother of Douglas A. Verdin (Melinda), Thomas S. Verdin (Karen) and Bernadette Joan Franklin (James). Grandmother of Amanda, Lee, James Jr., Monique, Sarah and the late Matthew. Great-grandmother of Daniel, Isabella, Brianna, Michael, Malcolm, Courtney, Hannah, Marlie, Tyler and Blake. Sister of Mary Leona Creppel, Theresa Billiot, the late Juanita Sylve, Gertie Ann Manuel, Margaret Alexis, Maryann Parfait, Ivy, Jimmy and Ackland Solet. Daughter of the late Ernest and Pauline Wilson Solet. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:45 AM. Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum in Westwego. Visitation will take place on Friday from 6 PM to 10 PM, resuming on Saturday from 8 AM to 10:45 AM.
