Mary Ray Douga Lambert peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Kenneth E. Lambert. Daughter of the late William D. Ray, Eunice C. Douga and Urshlin St. Amand Douga. Mother of Kelly M. Lambert and Karla M. Lambert. Grandmother of Trinidey Alexis Barthe, Phoenix Dragon Hamilton and Athena Maryeith Hamilton. Mary was born in Byron Peach Dounty, Georgia and was a resident of Gretna, LA. She a member of M.B. Sixteen Magazine Model, Upper 10% Nicholls Sr. High School, Skate Country Dames Group-9th Ward, TV Teen Talk, Dancer for John Pela Sock Hop, Gretna United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi/Zeta Delta, 100 Dollar Salesmanship member, 3 years for Jr. Achievement. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Gretna United Methodist Church, 1309 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 3PM until 4PM. Funeral Services will be held at Gretna United Methodist Church on Saturday at 4PM. Interment will be private. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
