Mary “Margie” Schonekas passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Gerard “Jerry” Schonekas, Jr. Daughter of the late Eva Alonzo Jenny and Aloysius Jenny. Mother of Janelle Schonekas Bjork, Rhonda S. Leger (Mark), and Jerry Schonekas, III (Donna). Grandmother of Blake, Jace, Gabrielle, Candis, Courtney, Teddy, Mattie, Michaela, Katelynn, Haley, Brenden, and Lindsay. Great-grandmother of Addelyn, Ian, Ezra, and Owen. Sister of Patricia Hebert (late Gerald), Robert Jenny (Sherry), and the late Jack Jenny (late Ethel). She was 76 years old, a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA, and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gretna, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11 AM.
