Mary Frances Springmann

Mary Frances Springmann passed away peacefully at her home on January 5, 2012 at the age of 83. Daughter of the late Maria Triola Caronia and Anthony Caronia. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd A. Springmann. Mother of Diane S. Johnson (Greg), Karen S. Gros (Dale), Robert L. Springmann (Laurette) and Lloyd G. Springmann (Lynn). Sister of Sister Teresa Martin Caronia, SSND, Sister Anna Mary Caronia, SSND, Margaret Molaison and the late Rosalie Schnittker. Grandmother of Greg Lynn Johnson (Chris), Elizabeth J. Navarre (Mark), Kelvin D. Gros (Jan), Eric Springmann (Jamie), Rachel S. Margolis (Jeff), Brian Springmann, Skye St. John and Lauren Luke Johnson. Great Grandmother of Allyson, Bailey and Christian Johnson, Michael, Andrew and Meagan Navarre, Justin, Gage, Austin Gros, Brooklyn Pinegar, Easton and Anniston Springmann, Samantha Margolis and the late Jason Gros. Aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. She was affectionately known as “Granny Fran”. She was a retiree of BellSouth. Fran’s family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Fayne St. John, Jackie Bush and St. Margaret’s Hospice especially Jennie LeBlanc, Tomeka Black, Janice J. Glaeser and Debra Guidroz for the care and concern shown to our mother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 9AM until 11AM.
