Mathilde Porier Arabie passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the age of 82. Beloved and loving wife of 52 years to Charles “Pie” Arabie. Daughter of the late Numa and Clothilde Porier. Mother of Debbie Barrios, Toni Kass (Husband Steve) and Steve Arabie (Wife Debra). Grandmother of Paul Barrios (Wife Stacy), Brad Barrios, Edward Kass III (Wife Jennifer), Raymond Kass II and Michelle Dewyngert (Husband Brian). Great Grandmother of Brandon Barrios, Landon Barrios, Brianna Barrios and Amelia Kass. Sister of the late Anne, Lillian, Lydia, Paul, Alton, Joe and Louis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her pet dog, Tiger. Mathilde was born in New Iberia, LA and was a resident of Harvey, LA for the past 56 years. Relatives and friends, also Doctors and Staff of Woldenberg Village Nursing Home, employees of Versabar and Auto Title of Louisiana are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, July, 20, 2012 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
