Matija Frankovich

Matija Frankovich, born in Rascane, Croatia on February 22, 1920 passed away August 22, 2012 in Gretna, LA at the age of 92. She resided in Buras, LA for the past 20 years. She is survived by her son, Vlaho “Frank” Frankovich and daughter-in-law, Sally Frankovich. Grandmother of Jaksa (Claudia) Frankovich, Anthony (Shannon) Frankovich and Andrea’ (Anthony) Galmiche. Great Grandmother of Josip, Pitra Frankovich Ayden, Kade, Karlee Frankovich; Emilee and Blaise Galmiche. Aunt of Ivo (John) Vuckovich and Lidija Kadijevic. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the care that was provided by Mrs. Justine A. DeMolle, Star A. Frazie, Ochsner Hospital Staff, Cannon Hospice and Bayside Nursing Home Staff. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, August 27, 2012 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
