Matthew Patrick Wilty

Matthew Patrick Wilty passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the age of 41 years. Beloved father of Jake Ryan Wilty. Son of Vernon John Wilty, III and Patricia O'Connor Wilty. Brother of Adrienne Arrillaga (Sean). Uncle of Patrick, Andrew, and Will Arrillaga. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was loved by his family and friends. His beautiful smile and gregarious personality enlightened the lives of all that knew him. He was an avid fisherman and sports fan and was very active in the development of the Gretna BMX track. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1pm. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday morning from 11am until 1pm. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
