Melina C. Frickey

Melina C. Frickey passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Marc Anthony Frickey for 39 years. Mother of Kristi Rink (Craig) and Kurt Frickey (Eunice Farmer). Daughter of the late Forest and Mildred Camardelle. Sister of Linda Bergeron (Dale), Cynthia Wade (the late Calvin), and the late Ruby Persohn (the late William, Sr), Jimmy Camardelle (Carolyn) and Forest Camardelle, Jr. (Pam Marie Stilley). Grandmother of Robert Prejeant, Jr., Kristopher Prejeant, Charleigh Rose Rink, Justin Parks, Yasmin Clofer, Rickey Pugh, Jr., Krishawn Pugh,  Jordan Minor, Brodie Rink and Ella Rink. Great grandmother of Bentley Prejeant and Colton Minor. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed writing poetry.  She was a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1pm.
