Melissa Rivas Galliano lost her battle with Diabetes on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the age of 37. Beloved mother of Mehmood Paco Abdul-Qadir,Jr., Austin J. Galliano and Ethan M. Galliano. Daughter of Alexander and Catherine LaCava Rivas. Granddaughter of the late Blanca Alicia Saybe, Catherine and Joseph P. LaCava, Jr. Former wife of Nick Galliano. God daughter of Buddy Michael and Paula LaCava. Aunt of the late Ashley Rivas. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. A resident of Marrero, LA.
