Mercedes "Mercy" Clement Verdun

Mercedes “Mercy” Clement Verdun passed away on May 17, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Verdun. Mother of Gwendolyn Verdun Becnel (Ben), Sally Verdun St. Pierre (Earl), Debra Verdun Lacour (Al) and Frank J. Verdun, Jr. Sister of the late Lula Daigle, Beulah Breaux and Ruby Daigle. Daughter of the late Henrietta Bourg Clement and Clifton Clement. Also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mercy retired from J.C. Penny as a sales clerk and enjoyed dancing. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Hospice Compassus, especially Laura, Cathy, Jamie and to her loving friends Janice and Nicole for their care and compassion during this time. She and her beloved husband Frank, are dancing on her rose-colored dance floor in Heaven, together again.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Funeral Services will follow.
