Merlee Divincenti

Merlee DiVincenti, age 91 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Salvador “Sal” DiVincenti. Daughter of the late Samuel Davis and Bessie Ellenburg Davis. Devoted and loving mother of Roy James DiVincenti (Wife Linda Nel), Darlene D. Egan and Salvador “Sal” DiVincenti, Jr. (Wife Sharlene). Sister of Margie Bailey, Ruby T. Womack and the late J.Z. Davis, Kenneth Davis, Evelyn Funderbug, Mattie Lois McNair and Jack Davis. Merlee is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gretna. She and her husband were avid Saints Fans and attended all away games. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Heart of Hospice for their care. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 11AM until 3PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 3PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
