Michael F. Boudreaux entered into eternal life on November 15, 2014 at the age of 68.
He fought a courageous three year battle with cancer with the utmost optimism and faith. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Saia Boudreaux. Father of Bradley (Rhonda), Mecia Israel (George), Grandfather to Tyler, Tanna, and Sophia. Step-daughter Jennifer Martin (Clay) also Grandfather to Miranda, Alyssa and Clay Jr. He is survived by his mother Mrs. Ella Boudreaux, sister Pansy Boudreaux, Vernon Jr. and Ray Boudreaux and many other family members. Preceded in death by his father, Vernon J. Boudreaux Sr. Michael was a Navy veteran and retired employee from Entergy Corp. He had a kind and generous spirit and was always willing to help others. He was an exceptionally gifted wood craftsman. He loved working in his shop and made many cherished furniture pieces for family and friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the compassion and wonderful care Michael received from Dr. Robert Kessler and the entire staff at the West Jefferson Oncology Center. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 9 AM until 11 AM. The Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Cemetery, Raceland, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Michael’s name.
