Michael John Daigle Sr.

Michael John Daigle, Sr. passed away on August 31, 2016. Beloved husband of Betty Maillet Daigle. Son of the late Paul Daigle and Aline Chaisson Daigle. Father of Wayne Daigle (Kim), Tammy D. Marks (Jules), Steve Daigle, Sr., and Michael Daigle, Jr. (Megan). Grandfather of Michaella Daigle, Matthew Daigle, Brad Marks (Krystle) and Jennifer Marks, Steve Daigle, Jr. (Taylor), Savannah Daigle, Bryce Daigle, Cameron Daigle, and Phoebe Daigle. Great-grandfather of Aiden Marks, Mason Marks, Carsyn Marks, and Cruz Rodriguez. Brother of Joyce D. Ullo, and the late Rev. H.C. Paul Daigle, and Malcolm Daigle.
Age 78 years, a native of Lockport, and resident of Marrero, LA. Michael was a general contractor, home builder, and owner of M. J. Daigle, Inc. Member of Carpenter's Local Union, New Orleans Homebuilders Association, and Greater New Orleans Fishing Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and worked on countless projects even after retirement. He will be deeply missed by all. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 9 AM until 1 PM. The Funeral Mass will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marrero, LA at 1:30 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
