Michael J. Hennessey, Sr.

Michael J. Hennessey, Sr. passed away on March 2, 2014 at the age of 60 years. Beloved husband of Lillian Martinez Hennessey. Father of Michael Hennessey Jr., Dawn Hennessey (Joseph Terre), Kevin Hennessey and Nikki Hennessey (Cory Parker). Grandfather of Julian, Madilyn and Nathan. Brother of Darlene Genova, the late Catherine Troxclair and John Hennessey, Jr. Son of the late Irena Eskine Hennessey and John Hennessey, Sr. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mike worked for Jefferson Parish as grounds keeper at Terrytown Playground. He also operated the concession stand and coached soccer, softball and volleyball. He later worked for the Fairgrounds working with horses. Along with his beloved Lillian, Mike owned and operated Ace Custom Screenprinting, a business that his son now operates as Allstar Printing. His love of sports and devotion to coaching youth sports will live on for years to come. He will be sadly missed.
