Michael Christopher Polkey was born July 2, 1959 in New Orleans, LA and transitioned March 9, 2023. Fiancé’ of Veronica B. Pizani. Father of S. Jamie & Anne Polkey, Nicole Foster, Kayla & Mark Guarino, and Shanna and Sal DeMarco. The Grandfather of Reed, Blake, Marshall, Jamie, Morgan, Michael, Sal, Landon, and Liam. He grew up in a large loving family, son of the Lee Leonce Polkey and Eloise Forehand Polkey. Survived by 8 brothers and 1 sister. Preceded in death by his brothers Danny, Lee, and Billy Tico.
He loved and was also loved by his biker brothers. He cherished every moment with them. He worked offshore in his younger years and later moved into Petro-Chemical Support. He was everyone’s “Swiss Army knife.” If you needed help, he was always the first one to your aid. The void left in our lives is unimaginable. The love he gave will forever carry us forward.
