Michael David Price, age 60 entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 17, 2014. Beloved husband of Teresa L. Price. Loving father of Christopher Price and Jessica Price Allo. Beloved son of Joyce and Louis Price. Son-in-law of Delores and Phillip Snodgrass. Brother-in-law of Alan and Tim Snodgrass and Robert Smith. Brother of Kathy Smith, Lori Greive and Randy Price. Grandson of the late Clarence and Josephine Price and Stenman and Irene Fonseca. Uncle of Ryan Smith, Brett Smith, Erik Price, Jason Price, Misty Gold, Clifton Gray, Samantha Shoemaker, Christopher Snodgrass and Emerson Shoemaker. Grandfather of Hailey Allo and Tyler Allo. Michael is the beloved pet owner of Katie and Maggie. He is the special friend of Paulette, Christy and Chad Lawson. He served his country while enlisted in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard Reserve. Michael was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Jefferson Parish. He was a graduate of St. Joseph Class of ’68. “We Never Forget the People We Grew Up With”. Mike was taken from us far too early in his life but the life he lived was filled with an abundance of love from family and friends. Our memories with Mike will remain embedded in our hearts forever. Although Mike was quite a “strong willed” man, he was every bit as passionate and caring. Mike was an avid sports fan and especially fond of the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. Many afternoons were enjoyed in the company of family and friends, playing golf both on the course and out of bounds! The beach and camping trips were his escapes for Mike to relax. Mike was quite the “Cabanna Boy” at the beach! Visit Mike at home and you were certain to find him snuggled up with precious Katie and Maggie. They will surely feel his absence. As for Fox News, they can relax a little now that Mike won’t be constantly yelling back at them, and…The Food Network has just lost one of its biggest followers. Mike was some kind of cook!! Heaven is certainly eating now!! Mike’s presence we will miss, And his memories we will treasure. We will love him always, And forget him never. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at St. Cletus Catholic Church, Claire Avenue, Gretna, LA on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 10:30AM until 12:30PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Cletus Catholic Church on Friday at 12:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements.
