Michael Charles “Skuz” Richard entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the age of 64. Beloved and loving husband of 43 years to Deborah McCloskey Richard. Son of the late Morris Richard and Marcia Usey Richard. Loving father of Ryan Michael Richard. Brother of Debbie Searsy. Brother in law of Gerald McCloskey, wife Beverly; Mary Ellen Raffo, husband the late Roy; Catherine Tripp, husband Eddie; Joy Sansone, husband Sal; Eileen Borne, husband Rusty and the late Charles McCloskey, wife Nelli. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. He was a veteran of the United States Army for 2 years. He retired from BP Alliance Refinery after serving 36 years. He loved spending time at this camp in Woodpark hunting and fishing. He was an avid LSU and Saints Fan. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Staff of West Jefferson Urology, Radiology and Oncology Clinics and especially Serenity Hospice for their care given to Michael; also for everyone who kept Michael in their prayers. A private gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date.
