Michael Ray Welch

Michael Ray Welch passed away on April 9, 2015 at the age of 46 years. He was born March 27, 1969 and was a lifelong resident of Luling, LA. Beloved father of Nicholas Stewart Welch and Jackson Dean Welch. Loving son of Wayne Wesley Welch Sr. and Ruby Stewart Welch. Brother of Wayne Wesley Welch Jr. and Dana Welch Jeanfreau (Franklin Crosby). Uncle of Kayla Welch, Alexis and Justin Jeanfreau, Ima and Tyler Crosby and great-uncle of Aria Ramirez. Also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Michael graduated from Hahnville High School, Class of 1987, graduated from Mississippi State University with his BA in Accounting and worked in the waste industry. A devoted father and avid outdoorsman, Michael loved to spend time with his boys hunting and fishing. He will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel.
