Mike Andrew Dardar, born on Wednesday, November 30, 1955. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 23, 2023. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in honoring the incredible man he was to so many. Mike was a man who enjoyed the simple but priceless things in life. He was a devoted Dad, Paw Paw and Father-In-Law. Aside from his love for shrimping, hunting, fishing or anything outdoors related…his greatest joy was spending time with his family, his friends and his dog. When he wasn’t with them or out on the boat, you could catch him telling stories on the bank of the boat harbor or hanging out with the kids in the “Lane”…he was everyone’s “Uncle Mike”. He had a big heart, a selfless spirit, showed love to everyone he knew and never met a stranger. He was a member of the United Houma Nation and proudly displayed his love for his heritage. His memory will live on through all of the lives he touched with his compassion, dedication, humor and love. He is truly missed; but we know he is cruising in Paradise. He is survived by his children, Brandy Mareno (Ansley) and Jonathan Dardar (Lacy). He is the son of the late Joseph Hanna Dardar and Melodia Guidry Buras. He is the brother of Mary Tiser, Frank Dardar, June Dardar, Hannah Dardar and the late Rosseau Dardar, Linda Dardar and Joseph Dardar. He is the loving Grandfather of Ashlyn Mareno Miller (Jake), Saydee Dardar, Ashtin Mareno, Jaylee Dardar and Jonathan Dardar, II. He is the Great Grandfather of Branson Miller. Mike is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 11AM until 3PM.
