Mildred Arendt Landry

Mildred Arendt Landry was called to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the age of 71 years. She is a native of Algiers and resided in Terrytown for the past 45 years. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond J. Landry; parents, Leotha Gauthreaux and John Arendt; sister, Melanie Melson; brother, Stewart Gahn; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Robert, Therese Eberhardt, and Josephine Landry. Survivors include her children, Michael Landry (Gay Treadaway), Michele Sampey, and Melinda Maclachlan (Carl); loving grandchildren, Erica, Kristi, Erin, Rachel, Kelsey, and Sarah; brothers-in-law, Henry (Sonny) Robert, and Charlie Melson; lifelong friend to the end, Gloria Naquin; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives, all of whom will miss her dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Road in Terrytown on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 9:30 AM to 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
