Mildred Vaught Overstreet, died on Monday, September 30, 2013. She was born in Roanoke, VA on January 27, 1932. Wife of the late Stanley W. Overstreet. Mother of Jeannie Overstreet Radosta (Martin) and David Overstreet (Edit), Grandmother of Courtney Hebert, Seth Radosta and Emma Overstreet. Sister of Joe Vaught (Anne), Doug Vaught (Doris) and Martha Vaught Lyne (Wick). She devoted her life to her family, her church and her profession, caring for others, as a Registered Nurse. She was a resident of Luling, LA for 42 years and most recently resided at Woldenberg Village in New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, October 5, 2013, 11:00 am at the Luling United Methodist Church, 1001 Paul Maillard Road, Luling, LA. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Charles Mausoleum in Luling, LA.
