Morgan J. Bourgeois passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Beloved father of Margaret Bourgeois and Mignon Bourgeois. Former husband of Cheryl L. Bourgeois. Son of the late Eugene and Clothilde Bourgeois. Brother of Frances B. Jacobs (George), Henry Bourgeois (Ameta) and the late Leona Bednar (Tom). Grandfather of McKennon, Jessica, and Shawn "Little Bull". Also survived by 2 Great Grandchildren. Uncle of Mary Jane, John, Angela, Travis, Maria, Allen, Katherine, Brent, Matt, Mike and the late Eugene and Craig. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, a great father and grandfather and an avid fisherman. He was a native of Westwego and a resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 21 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Hopeman Brothers are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11am. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 9am until 11am. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
