Morris E. Curren, Jr., “Cutter” passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Nickels Curren. Father of Andrea Curren. Son of the late Mabel Troulliet Curren and Morris E. Curren, Sr. Brother of Mabel Terrebonne and the late Leah C. Bealer, John P., and William J. Curren. Grandfather of Jennifer H. Gillio and Ashley Hendley. Great grandfather of Lauren Gillio. A native of Algiers, LA and a resident of St. Tammany Parish for the last 10 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family, also Perseverance Lodge #4, Sts. John #153, American Legion Post 218, New Orleans Firefighter Local 632, V.F.W. Post 3121, Veteran Firefighters Association, Inc., New Orleans Scottish Rite, Masons and members of the New Orleans Fire Department, are invited to attend the Funeral Service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 1 PM.
