Muriel J. “Moo” Lopez passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Daughter of the late Johanna Peterson Lopez and Andrew C. Lopez, Sr. Sister of the late Leona Nehlig (Pete), Louise Thiel (Dick). Frances Lohfink (Bruce), Lelia Scheuermann (Lester), Andrew C. Lopez, Jr. (Violet), Marcel and Cecile Lopez. Survived by a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Devoted friend of Gail and Roland Bourgeois, Richard Duplessis and the late Sister Estelle Foucheaux. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. A Funeral Mass was said at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Interment was made at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers Masses or donations to the Sisters Servants of Mary, 5001 Perlita St. , New Orleans, LA 70122 are preferred.
