Myriam Pineda Leach

Myriam Pineda Leach, age 53 of Frisco, TX passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in the loving arms of her husband of 22 years Tim Leach, O.D. on her birthday February 22, 2025, at 1:01am. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her unexpected passing. Myriam was born on February 22, 1972, in Somoto, Nicaragua to the proud parents of Hugo and Luisa Pineda. Myriam lived her life to the fullest. Her life was all about her family especially her sons William Usery, Jonathan and Andrew Leach. She had a passion and love for everyone she knew and everything she did. The only thing Myriam wanted to be, in life was a wife and mother. Myriam excelled at both. Myriam also brought her same passion for life to her occupation as an ophthalmology surgical tech at Eyecare Associates in Metairie, LA. For 22 years as a surgical tech there was nothing more that she enjoyed doing. She loved caring for her patients and spoiling her physicians and surgeons. Myriam also went on several medical mission trips to her home country of Nicaragua providing much needed health care. Throughout her life Myriam was always known as a giver with a heart of gold and even in death was able to continue to give by donating many or her organs. Myriam was preceded in death by her father Hugo Pineda, Sr. and her son William Usery. She is survived by her husband Timothy Leach, O.D., her two sons Jonathan and Andrew Leach, her mother Maria Luisa Pineda, her brother Hugo Pineda, Jr. and his wife Gaudy Pineda and their children Jacob and Brandon, her sister Julissa Pineda and her husband Edward Espinoza Valladarez and daughter Isabella Arias, her in-laws Leo and Rosalind Leach, and her previous husband David Ussery. Myriam also leaves behind many other family members and many friends who will sadly miss her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1pm.
