Myrtle Boudreaux Burns

Myrtle Boudreaux Burns, 92, a native of Donner, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016. She is survived by one sister, Louise Malbrough and one brother, Louis Boudreaux and numerous nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Burns, Jr., her parents, Charles Boudreaux and Lydia LeBoeuf Boudreaux, three sisters, Lydia Boudreaux, Loretta Boudreaux, and Ora Boudreaux, nine brothers, Clifford, Charley, Chester, Elmore, Douglas, Logan, Rivern, John, and Eldridge, and two step-sons, Earl Burns III and Brill Burns. She was a member of St. Phillip Episcopal Church in Algiers. The entire family expresses their sincere gratitude to Our Lady of Wisdom Nursing Home in New Orleans. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday morning from 8:30am until 11am.
