Myrtle Billiot Richards, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Wife of Jerome Richards for 39 years by second marriage and the late Felecian Joseph Crappel by first marriage. Daughter of the late Paul Billiot and Cora LaCoste Billiot. Mother of Philip Anthony Crappel, Richard Joseph Crappel (Wife Gloria), Beverly Crappel, Deborah Crappel and Keith Richards. Grandmother of Robert, Joseph, Nicolas, Christine, George, Hollie, Haven, Chase, Randall, Susan and Daniel. Great Grandmother of Madalyn, Caiden, Jolie, Cruz, Antonio, Sophie, Kylee, Alexa, Ethan, Cole, Ariana, Devin, Aubry, Ashton, Kaili, Avin, Brylee, Layla, Leighton and Landon. Sister of Philip Billiot, Collins Billiot, Jerry Billiot and the late Victor Billiot, Michael Billiot, May Angrisano, Velma Jorgensen, Cynthia Forster, Lydia Ordoyne, Sue Grass and Charles P. Billiot. Myrtle is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was born in Bayou DeLarge, LA and resided in New Orleans, Algiers and Gretna, LA. A Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 8AM until 11:30AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:30AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
