Myrtle Merriman West

Myrtle Merriman West, age 90, joined her husband in heaven on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Milton R. West Sr. for 70 years. Loving and devoted mother of Westley West Sr. (Frances), Thomas James West Sr. (Gloria), Susan W. Breaux (Shepherd), Harold A. West Sr. (Mary Ann), Gerard G. West Sr. (Breanna), Sally W. Reyes (J. Christopher), and the late Milton R. West Jr., Randall J. West, Elizabeth L. West. Mother in law of Patricia West. Daughter of the late Elizabeth Kempton Merriman and Thomas Merriman. Sister of the late Dorothy Vicknair, Frances Cacioppo, John and Joseph Cannatella. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was a selfless, precious gift to her family, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church, Terrytown, LA. She will be dearly missed by all. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Rd, Terrytown, LA on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 1pm. Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA from 9am until 12:30pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
