Natalie Jane Patterson

Natalie Jane Patterson passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023. Natalie was born in Carbondale Illinois on January 9, 1984 to Charles and Elizabeth Patterson.

She attended grade school at St Andrew Catholic School and then Carbondale Community High School. She attended college at LSU in Baton Rouge LA and finished her degree at the University of New Orleans. She worked in various positions in the film industry for 10 years in Louisiana and then worked as office manager for Rooms to Go in Gretna, LA.

Natalie loved film making and photography. She was a kind, thoughtful person with a beautiful smile and infectious laugh.

Natalie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Betty Patterson and Hugh R and Betty O'Donnell, Sr., her step-grandmother Kathryn O'Donnell, her Uncle’s Thomas F. McNulty, Robert Wedick, and Robert Cooper, and her cousin Hugh Wedick.

Natalie is survived by her parents, her dear brother Nicholas and his wife Elizabeth and their children, Raymond and Katalina of Herrin IL.; her Aunt Ann O'Donnell of Lafayette, IN; her Aunt Deborah Cooper of Orland Park, IL, Deborah’s daughter Norah Chilcoat (Erin) of Las Vegas, NV and Norah's daughter Isabella Barrera of Branson, MO.; her Aunt Pat McNulty of Rochester MI, Pat’s daughter Michelle Honomichi (Joe) and children Billy and Jack, Pat's son Dan McNulty (Diane) and child Helen Claire of Mississippi; her Aunt Jane Chapman and Lord Uncle Pete of Chambersburg, PA, and children Steven Chapman (Devon) and children Gwen and Ian also of Chambersburg, PA, and Lauren Sweigart (Bryan) of Palmyra, PA; her Uncle Dan (Anne) and children Daniel and Erin of Chicago; and her uncle Hugh R O'Donnell Jr of Orland Park, IL.  She is also survived by many other friends and relatives.

Natalie will be greatly missed and will live in our hearts forever.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Murphysboro, IL on December 16th at Noon.
