Nathan Joseph Fitzgerald

Nathan Joseph Fitzgerald went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the age of 20. Beloved and loving son of Pastor William J. Fitzgerald III and Dianna M. Fix Fitzgerald. Brother of Heidi F. Cuevas (Joshua), Aaron W. Fitzgerald (Jessica) and Adam T. Fitzgerald. Uncle of Jonathan Cuevas, Kiley Cuevas, Cody Cuevas, Logan Cuevas, Madelyn Cuevas, Macie Fitzgerald and Gage Fitzgerald. Grandson of William J. Fitzgerald, Jr. and the late Elverda Fitzgerald and Harvey W. Fix and the late Patricia L. Fix. Step Grandson of Mildred Fix. Nathan is also survived by many aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. He was a graduate of Belle Chasse High School, Class of 2010. Nathan played football and baseball for the Belle Chasse Cardinals. In 2008, the football team won the 4-A State Championship title and in 2010 the baseball team were state runner-ups. Nathan was a lifelong resident of Belle Chasse, LA. He will be greatly missed and is loved by all his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Nathan’s Home Church, The Church of Abundant Life, 2301 Par 3 Drive, Harvey, LA on Friday evening, April 13, 2012 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the church on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 10AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at Church of Abundant Life on Saturday at 1PM.
