Nicholas B. Licata, Jr.

Nicholas B. Licata, Jr. passed away on October 20, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lee Power Licata. Father of Nicholas B. “Ben” Licata, III (Elizabeth) and Derek D. Licata (Gina). Grandfather of Nick, Zack, Emily, Anne Marie, Devin, Gabrielle and Olivia Licata. Great-grandfather of Adalyn. Son of the late Mary Matranga Licata and Nicholas B. Licata, Sr.
He served his country in the U.S. Army as an MP (Military Police) during the Korean War. He devoted 50 years of his life as owner/operator of Licata’s Hair Salons and later traveled extensively as an educator for Biosilk and Farouk Systems.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 in New Orleans.
