Noel John Montet on Saturday, December 10, 2011. Beloved husband of Saybel Venable Montet. Father of Anthony Noel Montet (wife, Debi) and Arlene Montet Melancon. Grandfather of Janell, Danielle and Miles Melancon, Anthony “Andy” Montet II and Bradley Montet. Great grandfather of Emma Romsky. Brother of Ned Montet, Dorothy Simon and the late Louis, Philip, Gladue, Roy, Annamae, Enite, Edith, Esther and Rita. Mr. Montet was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea and the Cold War. He was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus #8615. He was also past Faithful Navigator and Co-Commander of the Very Rev. T.J. Larkin Assembly 4th Degree K of C. Mr. Montet was a parishioner of St. Cletus Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Cletus Church, Claire Ave., Gretna, LA on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
