Noel Elizabeth Reuss Romano

Noel Elizabeth Reuss Romano, age 76, passed away on May 14, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late James Romano Sr. Mother of Mark Edward Autin, Clifford Joseph Autin III (Colleen Finan) and Brandon Paul Romano (Kirsten Noel). Stepmother of James Romano Jr., Deborah Branton (Billy, deceased) and Michael Romano (Bonnie). Grandmother of Timothy Patrick Autin, Nicole Elizabeth Autin, Julian Evan Romano and Alden Giovanni Romano. Mrs. Romano had 9 step grand children and 9 step great-grand children. Daughter of the late Mary Peters Reuss and Edward Reuss. Also survived by brothers-in-law Frank Romano Sr. (Lynn) and Joseph Romano (Shirley), dear friend Claire Ragozzini and sister-in-law Lena Romano Terrebonne.
Mrs. Romano was born in New Orleans and resided in Marrero for 35 years. She graduated from Westwego High School in 1954 and served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary, Msgr. Peter Wynhoven Council (3091), Knights of Columbus. She will be remembered by friends and family as the beautiful lady that she was. She loved travel to many parts of the world and adored her family, who will miss her greatly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, LA on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Avenue A and 5th Streets in Westwego.
