Nolan Joseph "Joe Carl" Duplantis

Nolan Joseph “Joe Carl” Duplantis, born March 19, 1937 in Houma, Louisiana peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. He was a resident of Marrero, LA for the past 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Danos Duplantis; his son, Brien J. Duplantis; his daughter, Glenda Porche; and his siblings, Gloria Stringer, Bonnie LeBlanc, Toni St. Amant, Joseph “BeDo”, Dwight and Ted Duplantis. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Juanita Green, Dula Dupre, Earl “Teenie” Duplantis; his son, Glen Porche and his parents, Joseph A. Duplantis, Sr. and Edith Luke Duplantis. Beloved and loving grandfather of Nicole, Monique, Bailey, Jonathon, Evan and Kai. Great Grandfather of Gunnar, Gavin, Rylee, Milli and Alex Rose. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 8:30AM until 11:30AM. Memorial Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:30AM. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
